Nginx issue with 1.3.0
Steps to reproduce
- So I was coming from 1.2.9 I followed the instructions here : https://docs.funkwhale.audio/administrator/upgrade/docker.html I had to use the "stable" version since by using 1.3.0 I was getting manifest errors at the docker level indicating the tag did not existed, which was odd because it does exist but in the new funkwhale/front ? Anyway, after tweaking this item on my env file I managed to upgrade, migrate to the new postgres without problem and reboot all the containers without any error, at that point in time my NGINX conf were still from 1.2.9 but funkwhale interface was accessible, albeit a bit slower than expected, so I thought, let's get the nginx files up to date.
- This is when I followed these steps : https://docs.funkwhale.audio/administrator/upgrade/docker.html#update-your-reverse-proxy-configuration
- systemctl reload nginx
What happens?
nginx: [emerg] invalid port in upstream "${FUNKWHALE_API_IP}:${FUNKWHALE_API_PORT}" in /etc/nginx/sites-enabled/funkwhale.conf:3
my .env file contains :
FUNKWHALE_API_IP=127.0.0.1
FUNKWHALE_API_PORT=5000
What is expected?
systemctl reload nginx should come back without errors and boot nginx
Context
Docker multi container managed with docker compose version 1.3.0+git.f3f6ccd4
Funkwhale version(s) affected: 1.3.0+git.f3f6ccd4
I have confirmed my nginx conf file is the updated version of the template I have tried a few things, by naming the server field with the name of the container:5000 but to no avail, its as if nginx is not finding the api container upstream?
