Documentation improvement - Debian and Arch Linux installation
In the documentation there is a note about to install funkwhale with git. Because git is a very common and elegant way to install and update software, it would be nice to have a seperate paragraph for this installation method. The note mentions:
You will still need to get the frontend files as specified before, because we’re not going to build them.
But it does not explain how to do that - not a big deal - unfortunately the previously described way with curl does not work correctly, because git clone
has already created a front
subdirectory.
curl -L -o "front-0.20.1.zip" "https://dev.funkwhale.audio/funkwhale/funkwhale/-/jobs/artifacts/0.20.1/download?job=build_front" unzip "front-0.20.1.zip" -d extracted mv extracted/front . rm -rf extracted
