(Regression) not possible to create albums/series in channel

The "Add album" button on the channel page isn't working as expected. When you click it, nothing happens. Looking at the code, the show ref is never updated when the link is selected.
If you use the Vue browser tools to update this ref manually, the modal appears and you have the option to create a new album.
