Repeatedly listening to a track submits a scrobble only the first time

I'm using funkwhale on the develop branch, commit 987059d7. When I listen to a single track repeatedly via the web interface it is only scrobbled during the first time listening to it. The logs show the submission only the first time as well, so my guess would be that the plugin gets notified of a track only the first time. This seems to be the case for both the last.fm as well as the listenbrainz scrobbler.

I don't know where exactly to look, but I can try to fix it if I get some pointers.
